HR for SmallBiz launches Recruitment Service
Recruiting high performing staff is a difficult and lengthy task for any business. To help our clients select the most appropriate candidate, HR for Smallbiz provides a professional Recruitment and Selection service. Once the applicant passes the basic technical requirements of the role, our focus is to explore the candidate's personal and professional motivators to ensure a match with your business.
In contrast to most recruitment agencies, our service fee is a flat rate based on the salary level of the position so there is no motivation to drive the salary package higher. Likewise, our pricing is aimed at being 1/3 - 1/2 the cost of an average recruitment agency. Our role is to act as your internal HR department - not an external recuitment agency - allowing us to focus on matching the candidate to your business culture and values.
The Recruitment and Selection Service includes:
- Understanding the business and position requirements to create a position description
- Advertising for the positions using tools such as Seek
- Using our LinkedIn recruiter's licence to headhunt desired Candidates
- Conducting phone interviews and first interviews
- Providing you with a shortlist
- Organising interviews with the candidates you want to see
- Providing you with interview guide templates. We can also make ourselves available to listen in on the interviews or conduct the interviews should you require further support
- Conducting reference checks
- Conducting social media checks
- Making formal offers to candidates
- Following up with you and the employee during his or her probation period
